Description
Sencha Chumushi loose leaf medium steamed Japanese green tea. This beautifully balanced green tea has aromas of steamed rice, butter lettuce and freshly mowed hay on a warm summer morning. In the cup the mouthfeel is soft, smooth and velevty with a touch of sweetness and slight astringency. It tastes of sugar snap peas and steamed brown rice. My first thought when trying this tea was “this is a calming tea.” To brew use 1½ teaspoons for every 6 ounces of 175°F water steep for 30 to 60 seconds and strain.
