• Avoid automatic coffee makers — a French press (never used for coffee) works beautifully.
• Skip distilled, tap, or microwaved water — they can dull the flavor.
• Never use aluminum pots for tisanes; choose glass, stainless steel, or ceramic instead. Aluminum can react negatively with certain herbs.
