Herbs used in this organic herbal tisane

Organic Chamomile Flower is a gentle, time-honored herb known across cultures for promoting relaxation and supporting digestive health*. Traditionally enjoyed as a calming tea, chamomile is mild enough to be given to babies and is often used to soothe the digestive tract.

In herbal folklore, chamomile carries magical associations with prosperity. It’s said to attract money and has even been used as a hand rinse by gamblers seeking good luck.

Precautions for chamomile: Individuals with allergies to plants in the Asteraceae family (such as ragweed, marigolds, or daisies) should use chamomile with caution. Chamomile infusions should not be applied near the eyes. We recommend consulting a qualified healthcare practitioner before using herbal tea products, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, or taking any medications.

Organic Calendula Flower: has long been cherished for its soothing properties and vibrant energy. Nicholas Culpepper, the 17th-century botanist, herbalist, and astrologer, recommended calendula tea to comfort the heart. Astrologically aligned with the sun and the fire element, calendula was believed to hold magical powers of protection and clairvoyance. In folk tradition, flowers strung above doorposts were said to ward off evil, and placing calendula beneath the bed was thought to offer protection during sleep.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, calendula—known as jin zhan ju—is considered energetically neutral and drying, and is traditionally used to support healthy skin. In North American indigenous cultures, calendula has been brewed as an herbal tea to help ease occasional digestive discomfort.

Precautions for calendula: Individuals with allergies to plants in the Asteraceae family (such as feverfew, chamomile, or Echinacea) should use calendula with caution, as allergic cross-reactivity is common. We recommend consulting a qualified healthcare practitioner before using herbal products, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, or taking any medications.

Organic Lemon Balm has been used since ancient times to calm the heart, soothe the body, and uplift the spirit. In Ayurvedic medicine, it’s traditionally employed to ease digestive discomfort and balance mood.*

Precautions for lemon balm: There are no known precautions for lemon balm. However, we recommend consulting a qualified healthcare practitioner before using herbal tea products, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, or taking any medications.

How to Make your Organic Herbal Tisane

Prepare as an infusion. Use 1 heaping teaspoon of loose leaf tea for every 8 ounces of water heated to about 170–175°F (not quite boiling). Pour the hot water over the herbs and steep for 7–10 minutes. Enjoy hot or iced, as your moment calls.

Preparation Note – Never use an aluminum pot to prepare a tisane. Aluminum is a reactive metal and may interact with herbal compounds—potentially altering flavor and, depending on the plant, producing harmful effects. For a safe and pure infusion, we recommend using glass, stainless steel, or ceramic vessels. These non-reactive materials preserve the integrity of your herbs and honor the ritual of brewing.

Herbal Use Disclaimer – Many herbs have long-standing reputations for supporting wellness. However, the ingredients in this tisane are offered solely for beverage enjoyment and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. We always recommend consulting with a qualified healthcare practitioner before using any herbal products—especially if you are pregnant, nursing, or taking medications.

Blending & Packaging – All of our teas and tisanes are thoughtfully blended and packaged in a private commercial kitchen licensed by the State of California and by the city and county of Santa Clara. This ensures every batch meets rigorous standards for safety, cleanliness, and quality—so you can sip with confidence.

Sourcing & Brewing Guidance – All herbs used in our tisane blends are ethically sourced, certified organic, and fair or direct trade—unless otherwise noted. We honor the farmers, ecosystems, and traditions behind every leaf. For the best-tasting infusion, use fresh filtered or reverse osmosis water. We do not recommend using a coffee maker unless it’s a French press that has never been used for coffee. Avoid distilled, tap, or microwaved water, as these can dull the flavor and energy of your brew.
