JAVA KAYUMAS TAMAN DADAR is a certified organic, single origin, single variety Indonesian coffee made from Typica Arabica beans grown by smallholders in the Curah Tatal and Kayumas villages on the Ijen Plateau. โTaman Dadar,โ meaning โflower garden,โ reflects the vibrant ecosystem โ shaded by fruit trees, avocado trees, and blooming flowers in rich volcanic loam.
Grown at 4,000 feet in Eastern Javaโs volcanic highlands, this coffee is Organic and Rainforest Alliance certified. The beans are processed using Giling Basah, a traditional Indonesian wet-hulling method that removes the parchment layer before sun drying. This technique imparts a bold, earthy depth to the green coffee, making it unmistakably Java.
